STEP 1 ā Get Clear On Your Identity (Not Your Niche)
Most people try to start with nicheā¦
or logoā¦or brandingā¦or āWhat should I sell?ā
Wrong order.
The first step is:
Who do you want to become?What life do you want to build?Who are you doing this for?
Because hereās the truth:
You donāt build a business.
A business is a byproduct of the person you become.
Once you understand THAT, everything else becomes obvious.
STEP 2 ā Learn How to Package What You Already Know
You donāt need to be an expert.You donāt need years of experience.You donāt need certifications.
You already have:
- skills
- lessons
- experiences
- perspectives
- wins
- mistakes
- frameworks you use daily
Your job is simply to package them in a way that helps someone else.
Once you learn this, your value skyrockets ā at work AND online.
This one shift is why I went from making $11.25/hourā¦
to 3 raisesā¦to management rolesā¦to traveling for tradeshowsā¦to leading teamsā¦to building my own business.
Packaging your value is a superpower.
STEP 3 ā Build a Simple System That Works in the Background
NOT a complicated website.NOT a giant funnel.NOT 12 pieces of software you donāt understand.
Just a simple system that:
captures attention builds trust guides people helps them take their next step
Beginners overcomplicate this.
Professionals simplify it.
You donāt need a ābig business.ā
You need a small system that works.
STEP 4 ā Share Your Message Consistently (Not Perfectly)
This is where most people quitā¦
Because they think they need to be:
- confident
- charismatic
- perfect
- polished
- experienced
Nope.
You just need to be real.Consistent.Willing.Honest.Human.
Content isnāt about impressing people.
Itās about connecting with them.
When I started telling simple stories my life changed.
When I started showing up imperfectly my audience exploded.
When I started sharing my journey my income grew.
Consistency ā Momentum ā Identity ā Results.
In that order.
STEP 5 ā Make Simple Offers That Help People
Once youāve built trustā¦once youāve practiced your messageā¦once your system is workingā¦
Youāre ready to offer something.
You donāt need a big program.
You donāt need a giant product suite.
Just:
- a digital product
- a simple challenge
- an affiliate offer
- something that helps someone solve a real problem
Start small.
Start simple.
Let your business grow with you ā not overwhelm you.
This is the roadmap that wouldāve saved me YEARS.
