ASIA SESSION — STANDARD OPERATING PROCEDURE
8:00 p.m. ET TMT Opening Range
1. Complete the full chart preparation
☐ Chart Weekly → Daily → 4-hour → 1-hour → 15-minute → 5-minute → 1-minute.
☐ Draw the second standard deviation swing projections on both the 1-minute and 5-minute charts, including the relevant targets in each direction.
This step is mandatory. Never skip it.
2. Prepare the book and Tradovate settings
☐ Prepare the account book and Tradovate group settings before the 8:00–8:05 p.m. candle closes.
☐ Be ready to finalize range-based contract quantities when the opening range is established.
The book and execution settings must be ready before the one-minute breakout signal.
3. Establish the TMT opening range
☐ Mark the high and low of the five-minute candle beginning at 8:00 p.m. ET.
☐ Use that completed candle’s range as the TMT range and position-sizing reference.
4. Complete the Junior MNQ sizing bot inputs
All six PoINV distance inputs equal the TMT range. Setup quality changes exit management; every trade still uses C sizing.
| Input | Required value |
|-------|----------------|
| Bullish 1-minute, 5-minute and 15-minute PoINV distances | TMT range |
| Bearish 1-minute, 5-minute and 15-minute PoINV distances | TMT range |
| Range sizing reference | TMT range |
| TMT “one-to-one” value | 10-candle ATR on the 1-minute chart |
| Second-SD distances | Distance to the second standard deviation on both the 1-minute and 5-minute swing projections, for the proposed trade direction |
| Sizing selection | C sizing for every trade |
5. Confirm sufficient room
☐ Have the bot validate the proposed trade using the 1-minute and 5-minute second-SD distances.
☐ Confirm that there is sufficient room to the target for the trade to be valid.
No room = no trade. A breakout signal alone is not enough.
6. Execute the confirmed breakout
☐ Wait for a one-minute candle to close beyond the completed five-minute ORB:
- Close above the ORB high: bullish entry signal.
- Close below the ORB low: bearish entry signal.
☐ Once the trade is validated and the book is ready, enter without hesitation using the prepared C-sized quantity.
7. Enforce the actual loss limit
☐ Use the TMT range to calculate contract quantity and establish the initial stop reference.
☐ Immediately after entry, adjust the protective stop so the actual maximum planned dollar loss equals twice the planned dollar profit.
Reward-to-risk ratio = 0.5.
Example: $100 planned profit → $200 maximum planned loss.
☐ Apply the established MAE/MFE stop-management rule as favorable excursion develops.
The TMT range sets the quantity. The planned profit sets the actual loss limit.
Actual fills may differ from the planned loss limit because of slippage.
8. Manage the exit by setup quality
☐ For a C setup, capture the ATR value at the moment of entry.
☐ If the applicable second SD is closer than the ATR target, take profit at that second SD.
For C setups, the closer target wins. Do not extend it.
| Setup quality | Position sizing | Exit rule |
|---------------|-----------------|-----------|
| A setup | C sizing using TMT range | Trail using the established management rules |
| B setup | C sizing using TMT range | Hold to the applicable second SD |
| C setup | C sizing using TMT range | Take whichever is closer: the 1-minute ATR(10) at entry or the nearest applicable second SD from the 1-minute and 5-minute projections |
9. Revalidate before an opposite-direction trade
☐ The original trade must already have exited under the established stop-management rules.
☐ Update the book to reflect the completed trade.
☐ Have the Junior MNQ sizing bot validate the opposite-direction opportunity using the 1-minute and 5-minute second-SD distances.
☐ Confirm sufficient room and prepare the execution settings before the new entry signal.
☐ Enter only on a valid one-minute close beyond the opposite ORB boundary.
☐ Use C sizing based on the TMT range, then apply the same loss-limit and setup-based exit rules.
Every opposite-direction trade requires fresh validation. A losing trade does not automatically authorize another entry.
FULL CHART PREP → BOOK READY → RANGE INPUTS → ROOM VALIDATED → BREAKOUT CLOSE → LOSS LIMIT → SETUP-BASED EXIT
