From Airtable to Automated Video Production: How I Built a Zero-Touch AI Workflow
One of my recent clients was struggling to turn their content ideas into videos consistently. They had scripts in Airtable but still had to manually generate scenes, create visuals with AI, send everything to a video tool, review outputs, and update the database. It was slow, repetitive, and held back their production goals.
I stepped in and built them a full end-to-end automation using Make (Integromat), OpenAI, and JSON2Video. Here’s how the workflow runs now:
- The system pulls new entries from Airtable automatically.
- Each record is split into scenes and processed through JSON2Video.
- AI generates missing voiceovers, visuals, or text where needed.
- The final assets are stitched and uploaded.
- The results are instantly updated back into Airtable for tracking.
What used to take hours of manual work for each video now runs hands-free in the background. My client went from struggling to produce a few videos a week to automating the entire process with zero human effort.
