Hi everyone! I'm Nader, and I'm really happy to be reconnecting with the 360 Krav Maga family after all these years.
I trained at 360 Krav Maga in Long Beach, California, from 2015 to 2020. During those 5 years, I earned my black belt and coaching certification, and unfortunately my training and progress stopped when COVID lockdowns hit and we moved to New Zealand shortly after. But what I remember and value most are the people, the friendships, the lessons, and the countless hours we spent training together.
Martial arts have been part of my life for 19 years. I've had the opportunity to train in different disciplines, at different schools in 4 countries, and under many wonderful instructors, both before and after my time at 360.
But I have to say, Alan remains my favorite instructor to this day. There's something special about the way he teaches and the environment he creates for people to challenge themselves and grow. Looking back, some of my greatest memories and most meaningful experiences in martial arts happened on those mats in Long Beach. I'm genuinely grateful for that chapter of my life.
Since moving to New Zealand, I've continued my martial arts journey, including returning to Kyokushin Karate and training in Muay Thai. And the longer I train, the more I realize how much there is still to learn. If anything, the years have taught me to appreciate the fundamentals, stay humble, and never lose the mindset of a beginner.
That's why finding this community on Skool means so much to me. It feels like reconnecting with an old family, even from the other side of the world.
I'm looking forward to learning from Alan again, revisiting what I've forgotten, sharpening my skills, and connecting with everyone here.
It's good to be back! 🙏
Osu!
