Hey All, sharing my experience so far. The team has been very responsive in making sure we have all the info needed to get these captures done. A couple of things to note that might help.
- Uploading from your phone isn't the best option. My experience was that when the screen goes dark, the upload can get interrupted since it's browser-based. You could change the settings to leave the screen on and put the phone on DND, but I'd recommend sending the file to your PC /Mac, logging in, and uploading the file there.
- Recording for 60 minutes straight is a battery hog on the X5. Have a power bank with USB-C ready if you get down to 20%.
- If monitoring from your phone, also plug your phone in, as the Insta360 app is also battery-intensive since you're using the display and sending data back and forth while recording.
- You won't get the right files if you export via the app. You'll need the raw format from your camera, so connecting to your PC/Mac is the best option. I used the app, and it gave me the wrong format type.
I'll have more feedback later once my first scan is approved.-
