Guassian Blur Question

I recently captured a VT of business that's located on the 2nd floor of a business building. There's a stairway to the left and an elevator to the right upon entering the lobby. However, there's an existing business on the 1st floor that my client would like "blurred out," (see attached) or additional information that specifies the stairs and elevator.

As a photographer, it would so easy to do. However, has anyone done this before? Would importing this shot into Affinity Photo > Convert to Equirectangular > Brush out the Business name & Add additional information > Export work?
