Are Depth maps worth the time?

Hi!

I've just found the way to convert some photos to depth map and while trying I had some questions,

Does it make a difference to have it or not that much?

Do you use it in every vt?

In case you need it (https://imageamigo.com/photodepth/) this is free but you have to do it one by one.
