WHY IS MORNING ROUTINE SO IMPORTANT? First, because it sets your body and mind for the rest of the day. Your mind will respond differently to different stimulus. Science is proving that checking your cellphone right after waking up disrupts your brains natural waking process, triggers stress response and can negatively affect your mood, focus and productivity throughout the day. That’s why I put my phone to charge in the living room and I have a small alarm clock and one of the old versions of mp3 players beside my bed. I know, not convenient as I have to upload all that I want to hear there, but much healthier than having EMF buzzing inside my head the whole night long. Second, because you will feel a sense of accomplishment even before you start working and being productive. Third reason: a morning routine made with intention is self-care and self-love. And we need to care for and love ourselves to be able to reach anything worthy in life. After the years, I have been adjusting my morning routine according to my needs. ————— MY MORNING ROUTINE Now it looks like this: When my alarm rings, I grab my mp3 player and listen to some meditation (I haver some Joe Dispenza’s and some that I made up and recorded myself. Let me know if you would like me to share them) and/or my recorded affirmations/goals (it varies everyday). Then I wake up, change clothes, wash my face, brush my teeth, face massage to improve circulation in my head and elasticity to my skin, look in my eyes and say how much I love myself just the way I am. Remember this quote from Parker Palmer: “self-care is never a selfish act.” When I go to the living room I like to start with movement, otherwise I might get back to sleeping mode if I sit down to write right away. It helps me to focus. So I do some exercise and energy medicine work*. Only after a big cup of water + lemon juice, relaxing my eyesight by looking outside to the sunrise and doing some eye exercises** I sit down to journal.

🎆Manifesting Monday
People usualy not only don't like Mondays, but also fear them. They are a cause of anxiety and depression for many. What if we can change this belief into something much more enlightening and positive? So instead of spending your day overthinking all the things you need to do this week, just focus in one thing that will bring you closer to your dream. Instead of thinking: "Oh no, Monday again!", change it to: "Oh yes! Monday again! Time to act!" Maybe it is calling someone, maybe doing that task you kept postponing acting on for such along time, maybe it is just taking care of yourself. Whatever you neeed to do, do it! It is time for action, not excuses. Remember that manifestation occurs in a daily basis, with small actions that cause big results. So what action are you taking today?

How much dedication is enough?
This morning Pedro and I went shopping without the kids. After hours of jumping from store to store, we sat down at the station waiting for the train to come (that’s us in the pic at this beautiful train station in SP - estação da luz) Pedro asked me if I had posted here today. I told him that not yet. During my early morning routine I was focusing on finishing some videos for our 12D LIFE COURSE, where I go deep into each D, proposing reflections and exercises, so I didn’t have time to post here. I’ll get back to the course in a future post when I have all set up! After he asked me that, I realized that the video I was working on this morning was the Lesson 6- DEDICATE YOURSELF. And one of the things I talk about there is how discipline isn’t punishment, but it is presence and love expressed through consistency. Sometimes we might feel that it’s hard to keep doing the same thing over and over, day after day. But when we consciously choose to keep doing the thing we chose to do, not despite of our moods and feelings, but with them, we show ourselves that we trust in our capacity to reach our goals and that there is nothing but ourselves that can keep us from having it all! After Pedro’s question, I asked myself: how much dedication is enough to make this community a lively place, where people meet each other to grow, learn and have fun (yes! If it’s not fun it’s not worth it. Fun Fridays are coming soon🥳😝)? So here, in front of all of you, I commit to dedicate myself to grow this community in quantity and quality, every day, with love and devotion to make the world a place where more and more people enjoy this wild ride called life because they are living their most authentic dreams. I wonder, in which area of your life you are dedicating yourself this year?
