Reflections about friends, talents and gratitude
Yesterday we got back from the beach where we met some amazing friends. And I say amazing friends because it is that kind of people you can spend years without contacting them and when you meet it feels like it hasn't passed one day!
The connection and the good energy is the same as it was 7 years ago. Even our kids who were 6 and 2 at the time instantly connected and talked and played as if they have neen doing that for all that time.
I wish you all have at least one friend like that!🥰🥰
What we have been talking about these past 5 days made me reflect so much on how each of us has so much to teach and so much to learn, even if we don't realize that. The exchange is continuous.
And when we talk outloud about our plans, our ideas, our learnings to people who are in the same uplifting vibration as we are, you can feel their energectic support into making your dreams come true. I could literally feel in her smile, in her words and in her hugs that she was keeping the vision of my success in her heart.
And I was so lucky for seeing an opportunity to help her with something that was a big difficulty for her, but easy for me. She is a talented cook and has a business where she goes to her clients' homes to prepare their meals for the week. But she is not at all tech-savy.
So I proposed her to make an app for her to deal with her orders, shopping lists and financial control of her business. I spent some hours today working on it and it is being uplifting to know that it is going to make her life easier and the administrative work more effective.
She asked me why I didn't work with that. My answer was: "It is something that it is easy for me to do, but I am a creator. I like the free creative process where I can think in every gear fitting into each other to work perfectly, being useful and purposeful for someone. I wouldn't enjoy doing it if I someone else told me I HAD to do it and how I had to do it."
That moment I realized that I need a purpose to be productive. It is the emotional attatchement to an idea or a project that makes us move towards completion, not the logic or the need behind it.

Those last few days thought me so much about gratitude, mostly the gratitude of being of service, feeling our talents and gifts are not for ourselves. My friend cooked for us delicious meals (I wish I could take her with me forever) and I am working to give her a tool that will make the work she doesn't enjoy doing more effective saving time for her to improve even more what she enjoys doing.
